We’re just getting started

National Voter Registration Day may be over, but the work to engage and empower students continues!

I am incredibly inspired by our student leaders today. The hard work, drive, and passion shown by students across the country, demonstrate that young people are not sitting on the sidelines and will work hard to get their voices heard. Here are some of my favorite highlights from the day:

We had over 150 volunteers registering voters on 33 campuses, in 10 states. Here are new volunteers at our events.

Our events stood out with colorful signs, big props, and of course some sweet swag.

Over 40 students took on a role as a coordinator, helping drive social media outreach, training new volunteers, and speaking to the media. Check out our leaders in action.

Multiple campus administrators, university presidents, and local elected officials joined and supported our events.

CT Secretary of State Denise Merrill joined us at Trinity College (top), Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs Mary Beth Daisey at Rutgers University – Camden (middle), Amherst City Clerk Athena O’Keeffe at UMass – Amherst (bottom)
