This semester, Virginia PIRG Campus Action worked to recruit a team for next semester to hit the ground running on campaigns to protect our climate and increase voter registration and civic engagement for the 2022 election. With the semester wrapping up, I wanted to send a quick update on all the work we were able to accomplish this Fall.
We worked as part of a statewide effort to get out the vote in this election by calling students from colleges around Virginia and educating them about resources available to them. We also researched and explored opportunities for George Mason to be a leader on the environment, and we’re excited to kick off new campaigns in the Spring!
We’re so excited to continue our campaigns next semester and would love to meet with you to talk more about how we can work together!
