Georgetown University Fall 2021 Update

With finals starting and the semester coming to an end, I wanted to give you a quick update on all the work accomplished this semester

We made big progress on our campaign to eliminate single use plastics at Georgetown! We collected hundreds of petition signatures from the student body urging Georgetown to break free from plastics, and we worked with other student organizations to build a coordinated effort across campus to make Georgetown more sustainable.

We launched our hunger and homelessness campaign! We partnered with multiple community organizations to fight hunger and homelessness in DC. Just in the last few weeks of the semester, we delivered dozens of meals to our neighbors experiencing homelessness.

We’re so excited about all the things we were able to accomplish this semester and are looking forward to hitting the ground running next year! Want to learn more about getting involved? Fill out this interest form.

Next semester, we’ll continue with our plastics and hunger and homelessness campaigns to continue moving toward a healthier, greener, and more just Georgetown.
