With finals starting and the semester coming to an end, I wanted to give you a quick update on all the work accomplished this semester!
Hunger and Homelessness Campaign
Over 50 food and clothing items collected and donated - Over $150 raised for Street Forum ATX during Hunger & Homelessness Week
- Volunteer days at Sunrise Homeless Navigation Center
- Established partnerships with 7 local and campus organizations including Texas MEDLIFE, APO, Street Forum ATX, Sunrise Homeless Navigation Center, etc.
As TEXPIRG Students’ first semester comes to a close, we were proud to establish our presence and increase our visibility and engagement on campus. We will continue to work on developing new programs during winter break, so make sure to keep us in your minds next Spring.
